To Bestow . . .

To know my soul is to know that I believe everything is connected.
That beneath the noise, the differences, and the distances between us, everything is one.
For many years, I’ve searched for the answer to a question that has followed me through many lifetimes:
Why are we here?
Why do we exist?
And along the way, I have learned to listen . . . not simply to words, but to the whispers of souls.
Every person who has crossed my path has left something meaningful behind. A story. A question. A moment. A glimpse of something deeper. Something profound. And each, in their own way, has given me permission to listen with the intent not merely to hear, but to understand.
Perhaps that is why I write.
The books I have written are more than words composed on a page. They are my way of honouring the exchanges that have shaped me. Every story, every sentence, every word is a love letter.
A humble attempt to bestow something back into the world:
Awareness.
Enlightenment.
A moment of recognition.
Perhaps, if I am fortunate, a remembering.
I have never considered myself particularly significant in “the literary world”. And perhaps, in the grand landscape of publishing, I am but a silent voice.
But that has never been what has mattered most to me.
What matters is that somewhere, sometime, a few of my words found their way into a stranger’s heart and reminded them of something they had forgotten.
If I have touched even a few souls in this lifetime, I have been given more than I could ever ask for.
For that, I am eternally grateful.
Writing has been my paradise.
My sanctuary.
My little window of heaven.
And perhaps that is all I have ever hoped to do with my words:
to help you remember yours.
