The Changing Face of Publishing — And Why Real Stories Still Matter
There was a time when writing and publishing were sacred. When stories were written not to chase trends, but to leave behind something timeless. When books were handcrafted with soul and shared with reverence.
But let’s be honest — the literary world isn’t what it used to be.
Today, it feels like artistry has taken a back seat to algorithms. Publishers and platforms often prioritize quick wins over meaningful contribution. Book deals go to influencers with massive followings rather than authors with something profound to say. And writers, especially new ones, are told they must become marketers first, creators second.
We've traded storytelling for scrollability.
In this new age, success is measured in clicks and conversions instead of connection and craft. So where does that leave the storytellers who are writing from the soul? The ones who believe that a book can still change a life?
It leaves us with a choice.
We can chase the noise. Or we can create real work that whispers — and eventually roars — with timeless truth.
As a writer and publishing mentor, I’ve made that choice. I’ve chosen to work with creators who have something deeper to say. Visionaries, truth-seekers, and bold voices who aren’t afraid to tell stories that stir, heal, provoke, and matter.

Yes, the world is different. But stories still hold power. Words still shape lives. And books — real, honest, purpose-driven books — still matter more than ever.
So, to the writers out there who feel discouraged by an industry that’s forgotten its soul: keep writing. Keep feeling. Keep showing up with your truth.
Because there are still readers waiting for your story — the one only you can tell.
And I, for one, am here to help you bring it into the world the way it was always meant to be told.
—Want to work together on creating a book with meaning, heart, and purpose? Let’s talk.

That is so true, the craft of writing a story that hits deep and has meaning to the writer and reader, is not mass produced and not created with AI. It’s not always something that will get many likes and doesn’t appeal to the masses. I miss the times before internet when people wrote deeply cathartic books and works that added value to the readers experience in ways rushed work these days just can’t. Many people are so limited with time that they look for ways to write what’s in their hearts faster, but they are missing out on really getting to the deeper nuggets, the pearls of wisdom that only come out after you’ve written for some time, th…
